Ridgewood is still accepting applicants for its vacant football coaching position, principal Andy Frelick said Wednesday morning.
The Rams’ first job posting was set to expire, but the school posted the job again and will continue accepting applicants for another week.
The job became open earlier this month when longtime assistant Kent Reed stepped down as head coach for personal reasons. Reed led Ridgewood to a 1-9 record last fall in his second season as head coach. The Rams were 4-6 the year before.
Ridgewood is one of two Pasco County schools looking for a head football coach. Hudson is also still accepting applications for its position.
