Ridgewood F Tony Hays is headed to play college basketball at Florida College, Rams coach Mike Bua confirmed Wednesday afternoon.

Hays led the Rams in scoring (11.5 ppg), rebounding (9.9 per game) and blocks (2.3 per game) last fall during his senior season. The 6-foot-2 Hays was an honorable mention all-North Suncoast selection after Ridgewood’s 15-12 season. He earned first-team all-conference honors in track (high jump) and second-team all-league honors in basketball.

He’ll have company from Pasco County at the school in Temple Terrace. Sunlake’s Pedro Pabon signed Florida College last month.
