Robert Jota to sign with Ridgewater

Wesley Chapel WR Robert Jota plans to sign with Ridgewater (Minn.) College, Wildcats coach Ben Alford said Wednesday in a text message.

Jota led Wesley Chapel in receiving during his senior year, racking up three touchdowns and 438 yards on 26 catches. The 5-foot-8 Jota also had five carries for 21 yards.

Ridgewater finished 6-3 last season and qualified for the playoffs. Jota will be the ninth Wildcat to sign to play college football.
