Robinson tennis player Evans heading to Piedmont

Robinson senior tennis player Jay Evans will play collegiately at Piedmont College, a Division III school in Demorest, Ga.

Evans, a third-year No. 1 singles player for the Knights, was 9-4 this season. He came into the Class 4A-9 district tournament at the No. 2 seed.

He chose Piedmont over Asbury College, Lenoir-Rhyne University and Wagner College.
