Robinson's Ruben Gonzalez commits to USF

Rangy two-way Robinson star Ruben Gonzalez, the Knights' top receiver each of the past two seasons, has committed to USF after an in-home visit Wednesday night from Bulls coach Skip Holtz.

"He is a firm, firm, firm commitment," Knights coach Mike DePue said.

A 6-foot-3, 195-pound receiver/safety, Gonzalez had 46 catches for 651 yards and seven TDs as a senior, and 39 catches for 599 yards and eight TDs in 2009.
