While Countryside standout Tyler Moore has a drawerful of letters from colleges and the national rankings to back them up, his linemate Tyler Pierson is starting to draw some serious interest as well.

Pierson, who has been excelling this spring in various camps, picked up his first offer this week, from Kansas.

The Jayhawks have been interested in Pierson for a while now, along with Central Florida, North Carolina and USF. Pierson still has a handful of camps remaining to impress colleges, who have to like his 6-5, 275-pound frame. Playing next to Moore won't hurt either, as scouts are expected to be scouring Cougar practices this May (defensive back Alex Dixon is also a top recruit).
