Royal Knights' Dyaln Rutledge picks Stetson

River Ridge TE Dylan Rutledge has signed with Stetson, his father, Tom, said Friday morning.

Rutledge caught two touchdowns last fall and recorded 41 tackles and four sacks at defensive end. The 6-foot-4, 230-pound senior also blocked a field goal. He helped the Royal Knights to a 6-4 record and their first winning season since 1999.

Rutledge also had interest from Miami and walk-on offers from Georgia Southern and Presbyterian College. He plans to have a signing ceremony at River Ridge next week.
