Seminole's Sarah Read signs with Indian River State College

Seminole standout pitcher Sarah Read will play for Indian River State College after recently inking a letter of intent with the NJCAA school.

Read was a Times first team All-Pinellas County pitcher last season for the district champion Warhawks and was one of the county's top hitters with a .587 batting average.

The senior right-hander is currently 3-2 in her final season at Seminole.

The Indian River State College softball team is ranked No. 4 in the latest NJCAA softball poll.
