On Monday, Seminole defended its mid-county championship, shooting 148 to beat Clearwater by 14 strokes. The Warhawks had the top three scorers in the tournament. Tyler Zacur took individual honors with 34, followed by Eric Ines and Sean Knight, who shot 37.
“They all played great, and we’re starting to peak at the right time,” Seminole coach Jim Barrill said. “We need it because we’re in a tough district.”
