Seminole junior Alex McGathey has been suspended after being ejected from the Warhawks' game at Naples Barron Collier on Monday. McGathey, a Times first-team all-county selection last season after going 6-0 with a 0.45 ERA, was ejected by the home plate umpire.

"It depends on how the umpire writes it up,'' Seminole coach Jeff Pincus said. "At this time, I don't know the length. I'm going to find out soon.''

Seminole plays at Tampa Catholic on Thursday night and at Palm Harbor University next Wednesday. The school can appeal any suspension handed down.
