1. Strawberry Crest (18-2): Chargers came one bad inning from winning Bartow Home of Champions tourney
2. Chamberlain (16-6): Chiefs crushed Durant, which didn’t pitch Paige Davis, in Bartow tournament
3. Durant (14-8): Cougars dropped three in Bartow but have won seven district games in a row
4. Freedom (13-2): Patriots are solid, but haven’t faced schedule of teams ranked ahead of them
5. Bloomingdale (13-6): Bulls rebound from mild skid with district wins against Newsome, Wharton
6. Newsome (9-5): Wolves have dropped two in a row after five-game win streak
7. Plant City (13-5): Raiders playing well, vs. inferior schedule, under new coach Amanda Sawyer
