South Carolina shows interest in SPC's Ryan Green

St. Petersburg Catholic running back Ryan Green, the Times' No. 1-rated recruit for 2013, picked up another offer Thursday from South Carolina.

The 5-10, 190-pounder is coming off a 1,200-yard season and a stellar showing at the recent Under Armour combine. He already has offers from the likes of all the big Florida schools and Notre Dame.

Green had a busy day Wednesday as well, getting visits at school by Georgia Tech, Virginia, Clemson, Mississippi State and Miami. The Hurricanes have already offered.

Notre Dame stopped by to watch Green at basketball practice. The Baron is currently the second-leading scorer in Pinellas County.
