Spartans get recruiting process under way

Lakewood's senior class, one of the deepest in the county, is starting to get the recruiting process under way.

The Spartans Bernard Reedy, the Pinellas offensive player of the year, plans to visit Mississippi State, along with defensive back Xavius Boyd and offensive lineman Aram Wynn. Reedy also is taking a trip to North Carolina.

Bar'ee Boyd has trips planned for Western Kentucky and Tulane. Xavius Boyd will join Bar'ee on his visit to Western Kentucky.  Wynn is going to check out Hampton and Jacksonville.

And there could be more. Lakewood coach Cory Moore said a few more players get line up visits this week.
