St. Petersburg Catholic's Will Gerdes and Stewart Wilkes have committed to play at Pensacola State College. Both will be pitchers for the two-year school.

Wilkes led the Barons with a 7-1 record and 1.25 ERA in 15 appearances. He had 49 strikeouts in 61 innings. Gerdes was 4-2 with three saves and a 1.13 ERA in 16 appearances. He was also a catcher and hit .308 with 19 RBIs.

Pensacola State was 21-23 last season. The Pirates play in the Panhandle Conference.
