Spoto sophomore guard Chelsea White has been selected to represent the state of Florida in this summer's USA Junior Nationals International Sports Festival, Spoto coach Mareka Davis said Friday.

The event will take place from July 19-25 in Columbus, Ohio. Competition will include teams from 45 states and Canada.

A 5-foot-4 point guard, White led the Spartans with 7.5 assists per game and was the team's third-leading scorer with 11.6 points per game.

Davis said White received her first Division I interest this week from Georgetown, which plans to follow her closely during the AAU season.
