Bradenton Bayshore 14, Berkeley Prep 13
Spring game-breakers: With coaches from FSU, USF and TCU in the stadium, Nelson Agholor, one of the country’s most sought-after recruits, didn’t disappoint. The Buccaneer racked up seven receptions for 81 yards and a touchdown. He also returned a blocked field goal 89 yards for Berkeley’s other touchdown. …Bucs receiver/defensive back Christian Hardegree also had a solid performance with two catches for 50 yards. On defense he intercepted two passes. …Fullback/linebacker Schyler Miles also drew praise from the Bayshore coaches for his stout play on defense.
Did you know? Berkeley Prep right tackle Kenny Barrett was playing in his first varsity football game and performed well, not giving up any quarterback sacks.
