CCC 16, Seminole 13

Spring game-breakers: Early in the first quarter neither team could sustain a drive. The Marauders started to put things together in the second as Eric Davis scored on a 9-yard touchdown run. Later in the quarter, Blair Vaughn scored on a 9-yard run to put the Marauders up 13-0. … CCC rushed for 190 yards in the first half behind Michael Stevenson, who had 86 in the first half and finished with 117 on 16 carries. … After the lethargic start the Warhawks opened the second half with a 45-yard kickoff return by Brandon Trezza, but they could not capitalize on the great field position. Trezza, the heir apparent to the departed Trevor Sand, rushed for a game-high 181 yards on 14 carries, along with touchdowns runs of 65 and 81 yards. … The Marauders added a 45-yard field goal by David Campbell. … CCC’s Justin Goodloe had 128 total yards from scrimmage.
