Dixie Hollins 41, Central 0

Spring game-breakers: The Rebels dominated on both sides of the football. The offense ran for 340 yards while the defense held the Bears to negative 13 yards of offense and forced five turnovers. … Demondre Lambert led Dixie Hollins with 165 yards on 12 carries and a touchdown while Kabriel Jackson added 87 yards and two touchdowns. Davonte Harrington added 77 yards on the ground. Not everything was perfect for the Rebels as they committed 85 yards in penalties and lost two fumbles.

Did you know? Thomas Maynard was the only player from Central to finish with positive yards.

Audible 1: “We wanted to come out and execute. There is room for improvement, but it’s always nice to end the spring with a win.” — Rebels coach Mike Morey

Audible 2: “We feel we can run a little bit, and Harrington is going to have to get some touches. Jackson and Lambert were able to show their stuff.” — Morey

Audible 3: “We tried to keep things as basic as we could. We had a good winter but were extremely inconsistent this spring.” — Central coach Mike Einspahr
