Spring game-breakers: Quartez Simmons opened the scoring for Lennard with a 1-yard touchdown run to cap a four-play, 25-yard drive following a Riverview three-and-out to start the game. … On its next possession, Lennard quarterback Pete Foret had a 38-yard run and Victor Williams scored on a 25-yard run to cap a 75-yard drive. … Riverview quarterback Chase Freeman engineered an 80-yard drive for the Sharks, scoring on a 1-yard touchdown plunge. … Jaylon Davis connected with Geronimo Allison on a 53-yard scoring strike to give Spoto an early 6-0 lead over East Bay. … Later in the quarter, Davis hit Brandon Williams on a 48-yard touchdown pass to extend the Spartans’ lead to 12-0. … Chris Greene scored on a 5-yard rush, and Jacob Martinez booted a 31-yard field goal to round out the scoring for the Indians.

Did you know? Riverview’s starting quarterback, Chase Freeman, will be a sophomore this fall. … Daryl Stewart, formerly the offensive coordinator at Tampa Bay Tech, is now at Lennard in the same role.
