Nature Coast split its two halves in a jamboree Friday, beating Titusville Astronaut 7-0 and losing 14-10 to host Daytona Beach Seabreeze.

DeShawn Smith scored on an 8-yard run against Astronaut and finished with 86 yards rushing in both halves. He benefited running behind 6-foot-7 offensive lineman Christian Pellage.

Against Seabreeze, the Sharks scored on a 39-yard field goal by Austin Lacy and a 1-yard run by Richard Graham.

“We made a few mistakes, but overall I thought the guys were able to grasp things,” first-year coach Justin Worden said. “The scrimmage allowed us to find out who should be where, alignment-wise, and gave us something we can watch on film.”
