At Lakeland, Crusaders rising junior nose guard/running back Marcus Richardson proved unstoppable on both sides Thursday night as SCA built a 28-0 halftime lead.

Richardson (27 carries, 128 yards) scored both of his TDs in the second quarter and finished with eight tackles and 1 1/2 sacks on defense. Collectively, the Crusaders finished with seven sacks and more than a dozen tackles for loss.

New quarterback Nahshon Benoit, a converted corner, threw a 36-yard touchdown to Robbie Shell on the Crusaders’ opening possession.
