At Anclote
River Ridge 7, Anclote 0 (half)

River Ridge 35, Gulf 0 (half)

Mitchell 26, Gulf 0 (half)

Anclote 28, Hudson 0 (half)

Spring game-breakers: River Ridge QB Josh Maisel hit George Cordova on a 34-yard touchdown pass to give the Royal Knights the victory over Anclote. Receiver Brian Clinkscale and the offensive line were also standouts for the Royal Knights. …Anclote got touchdowns from TE Austin Rumer and RB Trent Crawford. The Sharks played strong team defense behind tackling machine Terrell Martin. …Hudson’s top plays came on D, with notable plays from linebackers Jacob Heintzelman and Steven Phillips.

Did you know? Thursday night’s rainout caused problems to linger into Friday. Mitchell coach Scott Schmitz had to miss the Mustangs’ game because he couldn’t change his plane tickets to Illinois for a family member’s graduation.
