St. Petersburg kicker Sean Covington already has become a sought after recruit with an offer from Auburn last week. Now he is starting to receive interest in the state.

Miami and USF both could soon offer Covington, a junior who recently was named an honorable mention All-American by prokicker.com.

This past season, Covington was a first-team selection to the Times all-Pinellas County team after making seven field goals and 27 extra points. He also averaged 43 yards as a punter.
