St. Pete's Moton signs with Air Force

St. Petersburg guard Gabe Moton finally made his college decision, signing with Air Force last week.

Moton is the county’s second public school player from this year’s senior class to sign with a Division I program, joining Clearwater's Okaro White (FSU). Moton picked Air Force over offers from Cornell, Denver, Tennessee-Martin, Tennessee Tech and West Point.

This past season, Moton averaged 17 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists per game and led the Green Devils to a district title and berth in the Class 6A region finals.
