Sunlake kicker/punter Adrian Krupka, who was instrumental in helping the Seahawks to an 8-2 record and their best-ever season, has orally committed to Northern State University and will sign sometime this week.

The 6-foot-3, 180 pound Krupka punted 23 times for a 39.3-yard average. He had a long of 47 yards and downed ten punts inside the 20-yard line. Krupka made three field goals for Sunlake and sent 32 of his 63 kickoffs into the end zone for a touchback.

Krupka was a first-team St. Petersburg Times and All-Sunshine Athletic Conference pick at punter following his senior season. He was also selected to the All-SAC second team as a kicker.

Northern State University is a Division II school located in Aberdeen, S.D. The Wolves. play in the Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference and went 2-9 in 2010.
