Academy of Holy Names swimmer Shae Timmons will sign her letter of intent to swim at the U.S. Naval Academy on Wednesday.

Timmons, who also swims and is a junior coach for Tampa Bay Aquatics, holds the school record in the 100-yard breaststroke and finished third in the event and in the 200-yard medley relay at Class 2A states.

The senior's contributions helped the Jaguars finish third as a team at states, their best finish since the mid 1970s.
