So much has been written by yours truly about players such as Aaron Murray (Plant/Georgia), Robert Marve (Plant/Miami, then Purdue) and Dexter McCluster (Largo/Ole Miss), that it can be easy to overlook the local alums we have playing at college programs that aren’t major powers. With that in mind, I decided to dig through the rosters of the prestigious Ivy League (Brown, Columbia, Cornell, Dartmouth, Harvard, Penn, Princeton, Yale) to see if we had any locals playing in that conference.

Turns out, we have several.

Below, you’ll find the names of those players, along with their majors/chosen paths. Keep an eye out for these guys-you may be working for one of them someday soon.

Brown
Benjamin Noury, DB, Springstead (N/A)
Joseph Rettig, DL, Clearwater Central Catholic (commerce, organizations and entrepreneurship)

Columbia
Nathan Lenz, FB, Clearwater Central Catholic (economics)

Dartmouth
Matthew Kelly, K, Tampa Catholic (French)

Harvard
Donovan Celerin, DB, King (medicine)
Danny Wood, DE, Clearwater Central Catholic (law)

Penn
Alex Paino, LB, Tarpon Springs (arts and sciences)
Peter Hobson, LB, Jesuit (business)
