Tampa Catholic cornerback Tyree Holder enjoyed his official visit this weekend to Ball State so much that he gave his commitment to the Cardinals.
“He liked the environment,” said Crusaders coach Bob Henriquez, who spoke with Holder this morning. “He attended the football banquet and was impressed with the chemistry of the team.”
Holder chose Ball State, a Division-I FBS school in the Mid-American Conference, over Toledo and Georgia Southern. The a 6-foot-1, 170-pound cornerback recorded 24 tackles, two interceptions and two fumble recoveries in 10 games for Tampa Catholic.
