The Tampa Catholic baseball team won the Catholic Challenge tournament in Orlando last week.

The Crusaders won all four games, including a 12-3 victory over Miami Monsignior Pace in the championship.

Shane Rowland hit a three-run homer to help clinch the title. Gio Marrero also homered and had three hits in the win and Nick Perez was 3-for-4 with two RBIs.

Tampa Catholic (14-4) has four games in five days this week, including games against district foe Clearwater Central Catholic and rival Jesuit.  The Crusaders face the Tigers on Saturday afternoon at Steinbrenner Field at 4 p.m.
