Tampa Catholic's Colette Eule had been invited to play in Saturday's FACA North-South all-star game at Emby-Riddle University Fieldhouse in Daytona Beach, she said Monday.

Eule, who helped lead Tampa Catholic to the Class 3A state title and leaves as the school's leading scorer, will be the third local player in the state all-star game, joining Plant's Michelle Taylor and SPC's Jerica Coley. All three will play on the South team.

The girls game will be at noon, followed by the boys game at 2 p.m.

Eule said she will also participate in the Florida Association of Basketball Coaches (FABC) All-Star Game on April 10 at Jefferson.

As a Division I recruit, Eule can only play in two all-star game showcases. Eule has signed to play college basketball at Air Force, as the Times first reported in January.
