Tampa Catholic fullback/linebacker Hunter Joyer's most recent scholarship offer is an interesting one.
Joyer, who owns offers from USF, Louisville, Stanford, UConn and Minnesota, received an offer Tuesday from Texas A&M, a school that doesn't usually come to Florida to recruit.
But new Aggies receivers coach Steve Kragthorpe was the head coach at Louisville this past season. Joyer's older brother, former Wesley Chapel standout Kamran Joyer, plays at Louisville, and Kragthorpe was the first to offer Hunter a scholarship.
Joyer also received an offer from Georgia Southern on Tuesday.
Joyer also was invited to Max Emfinger's Top Gun Camp, a national camp for top prospects, on July 11-14 in Daytona Beach.
