Former Tarpon Springs standout Bobby Woods, one of the most prolific hitters in Pinellas County in 2009, has committed to Pasco Hernando Community College.

Woods, a leftfielder and catcher, set a school record and led all public school players in Pinellas when he hit .512 in 2009, his senior season. He was named first team all-county and all-state selection that year.

At PHCC, Woods will be joined by former high school teammates Matt Freburg and Chris Ruggiero, who both signed within the last two months.
