Tarpon Springs offensive lineman Zach DeBell was selected to play in the 2011 Army All-American Bowl.
DeBell is one of the nation's top 90 players chosen for the game, which will be held Jan. 8 in San Antonio, Texas. DeBell joins Countryside offensive lineman Tyler Moore as the only Pinellas County selections.
Representatives from the U.S. Army will be at Tarpon Springs Dec. 7 for a ceremony to honor DeBell for his selection.
This past offseason, DeBell made a name for himself by shining at various linemen camps and became one of the most recruited players in the area. He committed to Georgia before the start of the season.
