Tarpon Springs running back Kenny Blanch has committed to Highland (Kan.) Community College, Spongers coach Ron Hawn said.

On offense, Blanch was used primarily as a running back but also served as the backup quarterback. He rushed for 684 yards and 10 touchdowns this past season.

At Highland CC, Blanch will most likely be a defensive back.
