Tarpon Springs centerfielder Cole Miklavcic has committed to Division III Marian University in Fond du Lac, Wis., Spongers coach Dickie Hart said in an email Friday. As a senior, Miklavcic hit .376 with 33 runs scored, five doubles, 16 RBIs and 18 stolen bases.

Miklavcic, a key part of the Spongers' district and PCAC championships, was a Times' first-team all-county and all-PCAC selection. He was also selected to play on the Pinellas senior all-star team that faced Hillsborough County players at Tropicana Field.
