Tarpon Springs' Nik Kessel commits to Assumption

Tarpon Springs linebacker Nik Kessel has committed to Assumption College, Spongers coach Ron Hawn said.

Kessel recorded 70 tackles and had two interceptions and two fumble recoveries this past season. He also played in the senior all-star game.

Kessel will join former Tarpon Springs standout Darius Daniels at Assumption. Daniels signed last year played in four games as a freshman.
