Tarpon Springs second baseman Hunter Bonner has signed a scholarship to play baseball at Salem International University in West Virginia.

Bonner was one of the Spongers' leaders and helped guide the team to a region semifinal and a PCAC championship. He hit .373 with 31 runs scored, five doubles and 16 RBIs. Bonner was also a member of the Pinellas vs. Hillsborough senior all star game at Tropicana Field last week.
