Brandon Green, a 2009 Tampa Catholic grad now attending prep school at Hargrave Military Academy in Virginia, will make an official visit to Florida A&M on Jan. 29.

“They’ve said they want him,” said Hiram Green, Brandon’s father.

Green, a 6-foot-3, 245-pound DE/LB, was a three-year starter for the Crusaders and helped the team earn a spot in the state finals as a junior.

He played significantly last fall at Hargrave, which is considered one of the country’s elite prep schools for football. Green has one semester remaining there.

Green is excited to check out FAMU and about the prospects of potentially playing for the Rattlers, according to his father.

“He really thinks that would be good,” Hiram Green said.

Brandon is the older brother of TC QB Christian Green.
