Tampa Catholic will be without one of its top linebackers for the next three weeks.

Senior Alec Maughan, who was second on the team with 30 tackles last season, suffered a slight concussion and separated his shoulder on a kickoff return in last week's 17-14 win against Bradenton Bayshore. After an MRI that revealed no major ligament damage, he was sporting a shoulder wrap at practice today.

Crusaders head coach Bob Henriquez said that Zach Dyer and Mark Lazzara, both seniors, could rotate inside to take Maughan’s spot.  T.J. Harrell, a sophomore, could also help replace Maughan, Henriquez said.
