Tampa Catholic RB/LB Hunter Joyer was one of our picks as one of the top 15 juniors in the bay area, and he figures to have a busy offseason once national signing day comes and goes next month. 

The 6-foot, 240-pound Joyer raised eyebrows at the U.S. Army All-American Combine in San Antonio last month. He was named to the Rivals.com All-Lobby team, a squad of kids that best passed the eye test from their physical appearance. He was also was second in the bench press, lifting 185 pounds 39 times, while also rating well in the vertical jump (30 inches) and the 40 (4.67 seconds).

His father, Jack Joyer, said Hunter will be attending junior days at UF, FSU, Notre Dame, Alabama and Louisville. He already owns a verbal offer from the Cardinals, where his older brother, Kamran, plays.

Joyer would like to play fullback in college, but most schools are recruiting him as a fullback or linebacker.
