Tampa Catholic offensive tackle Cory Martinez and Largo running back Jarvis Stewart apparently made memorable first impressions.

They won't be seniors until the fall of 2013, but they are already receiving national recognition. The duo has been named to the MaxPreps/U.S. Air Force Freshman All-American Football Team.

The 6-foot-3, 280-pound Martinez, the Crusaders' starting left tackle, was named to the offensive first team. Stewart, who ran for 1,014 yards and 7 touchdowns last season, was named to the offensive second team.
