Indian Rocks Christian tight end Sean Culkin announced on Twitter that he has verbally committed to Missouri.
“Proud to say I am officially apart of the #MIZZOU family!!! Go tigers!!! #MIZ,” Culkin announced.
“It's a great day to be a MIZZOU tiger!”
Culkin, a 6-foot-5, 225-pound senior, had offers from Cincinnati, USF, UCF, Kansas and others. He was one of Tampa Bay’s leaders with 55 catches for 981 yards and 18 touchdowns for the Golden Eagles.
Rivals rates Culkin as a three-star recruit, the country’s No. 22 tight end prospect and the state’s No. 76 player. He was a first-team pick to the Times' all-Pinellas County team.
Verbal commitments are non-binding. Recruits can begin signing National Letters of Intent in February.
