After eight seasons as East Lake's golf coach, Terry O'Reilly has decided to step down. O'Reilly said it was a difficult decision, but juggling work, family and coaching became too much to handle.

"I'll try to stay in it if I can,'' O'Reilly said. "Maybe I'll help out at tournaments or something. I've offered to still keep the PCAC averages if they want me to, just to stay in it a little bit.''

This season, East Lake's boys team finished second at districts and advanced to the region tournament. The team had the best scoring average in the PCAC, led by Parker Fox (37.25), Sebastian Hilpl (37.6) and Steve Aebersold (37.8).

The school has not yet named a successor.
