A Tennessee recruiter showed up at Seffner on Tuesday to make an offer to one Armwood football player.

He left after making three.

Hawk seniors-to-be Cody Waldrop, Eric Striker and Matt Jones all picked up offers from the Volunteers, according to coach Sean Callahan.

The Volunteers stopped by Seffer to offer Jones, expected to be one of the nationally top-rated running backs of the 2012 class. But Callahan said they asked about any other recruits, and he mentioned Striker and Waldrop.

The Tennessee recruiter went out to the parking lot, called back to Knoxville and had the linebacker and offensive line coaches go to sunshinepreps.net to pull up film of Waldrop, a right guard, and Striker, who led the Hawks in sacks last season from his outside linebacker position.

After a few minutes, Tennessee had offered all three.
