Three locals cracked MaxPreps’ list of the top 100 senior baseball players in the country.

Mitchell right-hander Cobi Johnson is No. 12. The 6-foot-4 Florida State recruit has allowed three earned runs and struck out 11 batters in eight innings this season. He also boasts a .429 batting average with four doubles through seven games for a team that made the region finals last year.

Osceola right-hander Keith Weisenberg is No. 48. The Stanford signee has struck out 16 batters and allowed only one earned run this spring.

Alonso first baseman/right-hander Alex Faedo is No. 64. The Florida recruit has batted in five runs and holds a .357 batting average for the 8-1 Ravens. He’s 1-0 as a pitcher with 10 strikeouts and one earned run allowed through six innings.
