Three Armwood Hawk football standouts have signed today, according to coach Sean Callahan.
They are:
-WR Richard Jules with Division I-AA Gardner-Webb.
-DL Theodore Jackson and RB Sherman Jessie are headed to Butler Community College in Kansas.
The 6-foot, 168-pound Jules had 19 catches for 329 yards and four TDs as a senior. Gardner-Webb, a Division I-AA program that plays in the Big South Conference, went 6-5 last fall and placed fourth in the league.
Jessie had 200-plus yards last fall in rushing and receving.
Jackson was among the county’s best defensive players. “Man-Man” had 76 tackles, nine sacks and six caused fumbles.
