Freedom linebacker/fullback Keith Lewis, closing in on 25 scholarship offers, received his latest late Friday night when Southern California came courting.

"I received a phone call late (Friday) night from (USC assistant head coach) Monte Kiffin saying Keith Lewis is their guy and USC wants Keith to become a Trojan," Freedom coach Tchecoy Blount said in a Saturday morning text message to the Times

"Keith has not made any commitments yet. He is continuing to explore his options."

Lewis (6-foot, 205 pounds), projected as a fleet outside linebacker or perhaps even a safety, also has offers from Michigan, FSU, Auburn, Nebraska and USF, among others.
