Two St. Petersburg Catholic players made their college commitments this week, Barons coach Tod Creneti said.

Julian Smith, a receiver, is going to Ellsworth Community College in Kansas. Smith was a reliable target for the Barons last season, leading the team with 598 yards receiving and six touchdowns.

Paul Medling, a lineman, is headed to Suwanee College. Medling came back from an injury in the spring game to anchor SPC's offensive and defensive lines.
