Nebraska offensive tackle Tyler Moore, a Countryside graduate, was in the starting lineup this past week against Chattanooga, becoming the first true freshman for the Cornhuskers to start an opening game.

"I had a lot of nerves, all throughout the day, ever since I woke up," Moore told Husker Extra."I had straight nerves the whole time. I had tons of butterflies, and guys were trying to calm me down when they saw how nervous I was. They told me,'You're going to be fine, you're starting for a reason, and that helped a little."

Moore helped pave the way for Nebraska to pile up 364 yards, including 229 on the ground in a 40-7 victory.

"I was expecting it to be a little bit harder or something like that," Moore said. "The first game of the year, you're not going to play the toughest team in the world. We're going to play some tougher teams down the road and we have to get ready for them."
