It’s early, but Countryside junior OT Tyler Pierson apparently has the attention of programs such as Auburn, Duke, Georgia, Iowa State, N.C. State, Virginia and USF.
Each wants to see video of the 6-foot-4, 265-pounder in action.
And Auburn already has taken the initiative to extend an invite for Pierson to make an unofficial visit to the school.
Rivals.com recently had this to say about Pierson, who plays tackle:
STRENGTHS -- “Pierson has good feet, a very nice frame and looks better with run blocking than in pass pro. At times he can be very physical and looks like he can play on the inside.”
WEAKNESSES -- Pierson is raw and needs to do a better job with his hands (rather than his body) and play with technique.”
